Food Bank

A few years back there was a brief closure of The Outback leaving student employees jobless and without money. From this the Student Food Bank was born.

John Clement, alongside fellow colleagues, were concerned that students of Sault College would not have enough money for food. They thoughtfully started what is now a well stocked, food bank at The Student Life Center. Generously many students and staff donate food and toiletries in an effort to help students in need.

Each year SAC is dedicated to keeping the shelves stocked and continuously raises money to keep it that way. SAC is proud to announce this service is available to any student that is in need. The Food Bank is open regular office hours ( 8:30am – 4:00pm) during the work week. Feel free to ask for assistance upon entering the building at reception.
