The Student Administrative Council is proud to offer the following services for students:

"The Outback" Student Life Center

The Outback is owned and operated by students for students. It promotes:

• A safe and relaxing environment to socialize and enjoy entertainment
• Good food for cheap!
• Responsible drinking
• A place where students can meet new people and really connect to the college atmosphere
 

The Calendar

SAC is proud to provide the students with a calendar that outlines the events (concerts, comedians, movie nights, etc.) held by SAC and the college throughout the year. We hand these out during the first week of school for FREE! Its also a good way to keep track of all your homework and assignments!

Event Programming

SAC puts on many events throughout the year from bands, to comedians, to festivals. Students are encouraged to tell SAC what events you want and ones you don't. If you think you know what's hot and what's not join the Programming Committee or SAC Street Team and help us with these decisions.


Chapter Fundraising

SAC can help your chapter (class or non-academic clubs) raise money in many different ways. Chapters may run raffles, hold bake sales, and have pub nights with entertainment through SAC. SAC holds a bank account in trust for all active chapters to use for their fundraising initiatives. Many chapters use the money collected for graduation parties or grad clothing.

Bursaries

SAC contributes annually to bursaries for students. As well, SAC has made many other generous donations to financial aid and the Ontario Trust for Student Support, to help support student success. We are here to help students in any way we can!

Academic Appeals

If you are ever dealing with or considering entering into an academic appeal we are here for you. Our General Manager of SAC & Student Life can help answer any questions and help guide you through the entire process.
